Katherine Painter has excellent print exposure, but I have not seen her name mentioned much lately.  This is perplexing, because this Filipina-American fitness and figure competitor has  quite a biography-- in addition to a beautifully sculpted physique.  (We at The Muscular Asian Woman particularly admire her lean midsection which shows her ripped abs). 

Standing at 152 cm (5 ft.) and weighing just under 45 kg (100 lbs.), Ms. Painter has a lot of power in a small, tight package.  Maybe that is why she has the nickname "Rocket Girl."

Born in the Philippines, Katherine "Rocket Girl" Painter has spent most of her life in the Southern United States.  In 2005, she moved to Southern California to dedicate her life to health and fitness (previously she worked at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center).  She placed in tthe top 10 at the FAME 2006 Ftiness Finals in California.  

On her myspace page, Ms. Painter writes:

"I never realized the true benefit [of fitness] until 7 years ago when I was at the worse condition of my life. With added responsibilities like college, corporate career, relationships, previous marriage, caring for a sick family member, etc...I found excuses to not be active like I once was and I used unhealthy food as a vehicle for temporary happiness. Eventually, it did catch up with me and wondered how I let myself go. The extra 22 pounds of weight I had gained in 2 years and low energy level affected my self esteem. I decided then to do something about my quality of life with the ultimate goal of being healthy and fit again!!!

"I am very PROUD to reveal my 100% NATURAL physique (NO cosmetic surgery, drug enhancements, or photoshop in my pics) and by no means am I "perfect"...What you see is what you get!!! Enough said! I have a PURE DEDICATION to TOTAL health & fitness because I want to LIVE life to the fullest and feel youthful at age 100!!!"
